Answer: Veterans and military using the GI Bill can now go to www.ebenefits.va.gov to check the status of a VA claim.

After registering, students should be able to print DD-214s, view payment status, and check the amount of their
remaining entitlement at https://www.ebenefits.va.gov/ebenefits-portal/ebenefits.portal.

This is great news because in the past students only had the option to call the DVA.
